On September 19, 2016, Al Duke, RN, M.B.A., B.S.N., CEN successfully passed the certification exam for the credential of Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS).
The Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) credential distinguishes healthcare professionals who meet the competency requirements in the areas of patient safety science and human factors engineering, and who demonstrate the ability to apply this knowledge to effectively plan and implement patient safety initiatives.
